The 2K double-color mold molds and combines two LSR materials — or LSR with a thermoplastic component — within a single molding cycle, eliminating the need for secondary assembly. The second material offers considerable flexibility: it can be a thermoplastic material compatible with the first LSR, or a different Shore hardness grade of LSR (e.g., for soft-hard combinations or two-tone color designs).
