Mainly two types on the market
Single color teether
The single color teether, only need one injection can finish the molding, it is easy to produce.
Two-color silicone teether
The two-color silicone teether which need two molds and two injections to get the finish product. Use one mold to inject and molding half of the product, then put this half of the product into another mold, use another color to inject the another half, and then you will get a two-color silicone baby teether.
Normally the silicone teether use common runner mold to produce as it is not require very high product accuracy. The cost of common mold also cheaper than cold runner mold. But the common runner mold have a little runner waste.
