Silicone Half Mask Respirator Mold
The silicone half mask respirator mold uses a special design with two bottoms to make the manufacturing process more efficient. This clever design allows two halves of the mask to be produced at the same time, greatly increasing how much can be made and how fast.The mould is made to be water-gate and flash-free, which improves the quality of the final product and how efficiently the moulding process is carried out.
The dual-bottom design allows for even silicone injection into the cavities, and the two cavities ensure that two respirator halves are produced in a single cycle, so production capacity is maximised.The design reduces cycle time and minimises material waste, making the process both cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
The design also means there is no need for trimming after moulding, which again speeds up production and reduces labor costs.
Mold Design and Key Technologies
Dual Lower Mold Design
This design is an innovation as it does away with runners, reducing material waste by 20-25%. RFID chips embedded in the mould collect real-time data on cycle times, temperature and pressure. This data is integrated with the MES system for digital monitoring and traceability.
